Goals
As honest, hardworking, and qualified construction professionals, we at Century One Builders Inc. strive to conduct ourselves in accordance with the following standards:
1. Client Service. Serve all clients with honesty, integrity, competence, and objectivity, establishing a relationship of trust and confidence and furnishing the best skills and judgment consistent with the interests of each client.
2. Representation of Qualifications. Only accept assignments for which we are qualified by education, training, professional experience and technical competence. We will assign staff to projects in accordance with their qualifications and commensurate with the services to be provided.
3. Standards of Practice. Furnish services in a manner consistent with the established and accepted construction standards and with the laws and regulations that govern its practice.
4. Fair Competition. Build professional reputation based on direct experience and service provided, and will compete fairly and respectfully with professional colleagues.
5. Conflicts of Interest. Seek to avoid any and all conflicts of interest and will immediately acknowledge any influences and offer to withdraw from any assignment when any actual conflict exists which may impair our objectivity or integrity in the service of each and every client.
6. Fair Compensation. Negotiate fairly and openly with clients in establishing a basis for compensation, and charge fees and expenses that are reasonable and commensurate with the services to be provided and the responsibilities and risks to be assumed.
7. Release of Information. Only release public statements that are truthful and objective, and keep information and records confidential when appropriate and protect the proprietary interests of all clients and professional colleagues.
8. Public Welfare. Avoid any racial, sexual or political discrimination related to any assignment undertaken. Avoid any conduct that would be considered unethical or will interfere or conflict with any laws, statutes or regulations, and uphold the safety, health and welfare of the public in the performance of professional duties.
9. Professional Development. Continue to develop professional knowledge and competency as a general contractor.
10. Integrity of the Profession. Avoid actions, which promote self-interest at the expense of the construction standards.

Approach
Our approach is based on collaboration among the contractor, the designer and most importantly, the Home-Owner! At Century One Builders we provide home-owners with the careful planning and organizational skills which help prevent unnecessary and costly problems during construction. Century One Builders Inc. provides a variety of services, including the following:
Budget and Cost Estimation:
We provide all of our customers with preliminary budgets. Next, during the design process we construct detailed estimation of the project, based on each home-owners specific needs and goals.
Project Review:
We review all design plans and specification with the home-owner, in order to guarantee that the owner is pleased with the design, to assure that there are no construction conflict, and to make sure that the construction project is within the home-owner's budget.
Change Order Review:
We coordinate with our professional designers throughout the project. We review and/or coordinate all design updates and changes to assure that our design is to the best satisfaction.
Project Inspection and Observation:
We examine each project's performance on a periodic basis to review progress, ensure compliance with specifications and plans, and to review housekeeping and safety matters.
Project organization and Control:
In order to ensure that each project is efficiently and effectively managed, we provide home-owners with maintenance of project correspondence, conduction of progress meetings, handling of all submittals and requests for information, documentation of progress, schedule reviews and schedule updates.
Successful Project Completion:
We ensure orderly and timely completion, including development of punch lists; monitoring of implementation, training and warranty periods; resolution of outstanding issues.
