We would like to introduce you to Mr. Larry Eiteljorg, the founder and owner of Century One Builders. Larry comes from a long line of home improvement specialists and is a third-generation contractor. In 1984, Larry established Century One Builders in Denver, Colorado. Over the next few years the Company grew quite rapidly, achieving sales of $1.8 million in 1985. By 1987, the Company began to branch out. Century One Builders of Arizona was founded at this time specializing in energy-efficient windows, siding, and other home improvements. In it’s first year in Arizona, the Company received the Golden Hammer Award from Alcoa and, in 1988, received honorable mention from the prestigious American Architectural Association.
Further growth brought Century One Builders to New Mexico in 1993, with a branch office in Albuquerque. Century One Builders of California and Century One Builders of Nevada were formed that same year. Sales approached $6 million in 1993 and almost $10 million in 2002.
Century One Builders rapid growth has not sacrificed product quality or customer service. Qualified Remodeler Magazine has consistently rated Century One Builders a Top 100 home improvement contractor, not just in the Southwest, but rather, the entire United States! This is no small feat considering that there are over 240,000 contractors in the United States! In fact, Century One Builders’ growth has been accompanied by an increased rating from Qualified Remodeler Magazine during this period, from 102nd in 1991 to 67’th in 2002! Our goal is to become one of the Top 10 remodelers in the United States!!
Naturally, we are fully Licensed, Bonded, and Insured. Century One Builders is a member of the National Federation of Independent Business and the Better Business Bureau and we have been a part of the Better Business Bureau’s Care Program since it’s inception. Century One Builders is also a member of many local groups such as the Sun City Homeowners Association, and many others.
